Outward Bound - Instructors Accommodation

Glenroy Housing were tasked to build 5 Accommodation units for the Outward Bound Instructors in beautiful Anakiwa - Queen Charlotte Sound. The five, north facing one bedroom lodges each have a light and bright kitchen / lounge area, bathroom, private patio along with carport and lockup storage room. With a requirement to keep the lodges as energy efficient as possible we installed one super efficient hotwater heat pump system to provide underfloor heating and meet all the needs for domestic hot water. Utilising the MAXRaft® floor system achieves a complete thermal break ensuring heat does not transfer out to the surrounding environment and minimises heat loss.
